Where is the conference being held?
The conference is being held July 12-16, 2020, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, New Orleans, Louisiana. The address is Two Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130.
When will registration open?
Registration will open by March 15th at nacmconference.org. You can register online or you can download a registration form and send by mail with a check.
What does my registration include?
Registration includes entry into all education sessions as well as a welcome reception, coffee service each morning, a Tuesday Evening Social Event, lunch on Monday and Wednesday, and breakfast on Thursday.
When will I receive confirmation of my registration?
When registering online, you will receive a confirmation email at the conclusion of the online process.
When registering by mail, you will receive a confirmation email as soon as payment for your registration is processed.
If I am unable to attend, can I transfer my registration to someone else in my organization?
Yes. You will need to contact Conference Services as soon as you know you are unable to attend and give us the name of the person to whom your registration is being transferred no later than Friday, June 26, 2020. You can also transfer your registration to a future NACM conference within a year.
Will I receive a refund if I have to cancel my registration?
Refund requests must be made in writing by Friday, June 26, 2020. No refunds or meeting credits will be given after June 26, 2020. A processing fee of $100 will be deducted from each cancelled registration. Please review the NACM cancellation policy for further details.
Can I bring a guest to conference events?
Yes, but you will need to provide the name of your guest when you register, and you will need to pay for your guest to attend meals and social events. Guests are only invited to participate in meals and social functions once their fee is received.
Hotel & Transportation
Can I make my hotel reservation now?
You will be required to REGISTER FIRST and then you will be able to reserve your sleeping room! When you register, the confirmation letter will contain information on how to book your hotel stay. The NACM room rate is $185 per night, single/double occupancy.
This rate is available only through June 19, 2020, or until the NACM room block is full. It is recommended that you register and make your reservation no later than June 19, 2020 to ensure you get the NACM special rate.
How do I get from the airport to the hotel?
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is located approximately 14.6 miles from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. You will need to take a taxi, Uber or Lyft to the hotel.
Is there parking at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside?
Valet parking at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside:
Valet parking: $49.00 per night. (Space is limited.)
Self parking: $44 per day
What day is the Exhibit Show?
The Exhibit Show will take place on Wednesday, July 15, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Lunch is included.
Where is it being held?
The Exhibit Show is being held onsite in the Grand Salon.
Who will be exhibiting?
A list of exhibitors will be posted on the NACM conference website under the Exhibit/Sponsor Info tab.
Why is there an exhibit show?
Exhibitors play a valuable role in NACM conferences. In addition to bringing attendees new and innovative products, the exhibitor fees help to offset conference registration, food and hotel costs.
Can I bring a guest to the Opening Reception on Sunday night?
Yes, but you must provide a name and pay for them to attend.
What meals are provided?
Sunday Evening is the Welcome Reception with hors d’oeurves. Coffee service will be provided each morning. Lunch will be served on Monday and Wednesday, and breakfast on Thursday morning.
Are there places nearby to eat? What about shopping?
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside is located in the warehouse and arts district, within walking distance of the French Quarter. There are several places to eat nearby that serve lunch and dinner, and numerous shops. Nestled against the banks of the Mississippi, guests can watch the ships come sailing in or dive into the city life just steps away. Grab a beignet, listen to live jazz, ride a streetcar, or hop into a parade, you never know what you’ll experience in the vibrant culture and excitement of New Orleans just outside our front door. Maps are available at the hotel’s front desk that list nearby restaurants, museums and other activities.

There is a drugstore approximately .6 mile away, CVS Pharmacy, located at 800 Canal Street.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is business casual. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so it is advisable to bring a sweater or jacket.
Is there WiFi in the hotel?
Free WiFi will be available in the conference area.
How do I obtain CLE/CEU credits?
A form to receive credit will be available soon on the conference website.

The conference will end at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
What is the average temperature in New Orleans in July?
Daily high temperatures are around 95°F, with a low of 75°F. There could be rain, so you will want to consider that when packing.
