ROD OLSON has served as the court administrator for North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Unit 2 since August 2005. He worked previously in Minnesota as a court administrator (clerk of court) for 19 years. Mr. Olson has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and he is a 2009 fellow of the Institute of Court Management. He has experience serving on various court user groups and committees. Since coming to work in North Dakota, he has served on the Personnel Policy Board, Racial Bias Commission for the North Dakota Courts, Jury Users Workgroup (past chair), and Oversight Committee for the implementation of the Odyssey Case Management System. Two of the counties in his unit were chosen as the pilot sites for the implementation of a new case management system, which involved moving from paper files to entirely electronic files, complete with imaging, e-filing, and web access.
