Professor Jackie Middleton

PROFESSOR JACKIE MIDDLETON is chair of the Department of Accounting, Business, Management, and Legal Studies and has been a faculty member at the Montgomery College Germantown Campus for 25 years. She is a retired U.S. Air Force officer and was the commander of criminal investigations for the Office of Special Investigations (OSI). As a special agent she led numerous criminal investigations in the U.S. and abroad. She also was the commander in charge of protective service for the vice president of the U.S. in Kennebunkport, Maine. She has received the award of Outstanding Faculty for Montgomery College, the National Institute of Staff and Organizational Development Award, and Educator of the Year in Who Is Who Among Educators. As a national speaker at conferences associated with the legal studies career field, she spoke at the Mid-Atlantic Association for Court Management Conference (MAACM) in October 2012 at Ocean City, Maryland as a workshop presenter on the topic of civility and diversity. She was selected to be MAACM’s keynote speaker at their September 2013 conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Professor Middleton has also been a consultant for the District of Columbia Mayor’s Office Department of Justice and the D.C. courts.
