Laura Klaversma, court services director, joined the Court Consulting Services division of the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) in April 1998. She is responsible for managing the daily operations from initiation to conclusion of all consulting projects. Since joining NCSC, Ms. Klaversma has also has managed and participated in many court projects. For the past several years she has been the project director and one of the lead consultants for the State Justice Institute Reengineering Project. This involved the assessing and participating in many reengineering efforts in states and jurisdictions throughout the United States. She has over 25 years of experience in managing nonprofit organizations, both in the United States and the Middle East. Her expertise in business and organizational analysis, business process evaluation and change, program development, fiscal management, policy formation, customer service, and personnel responsibilities is an asset in providing valuable services to NCSC’s clients. Ms. Klaversma earned a BS degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Houston; she is a Fellow of NCSC’s Institute for Court Management.
