Karen Teig is a certified shorthand reporter in the State of Iowa and works as a court reporter for the Iowa Judicial Branch. She has written verbatim shorthand for 39 years, having worked as a freelance reporter, a freelance firm owner, and a judicial reporter. Ms. Teig is in her second year of a three-year term as a Director of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) Board of Directors. She is also a member of the Education Committee of NACM’s Forum on the Advancement of Court Technology (FACT).
