John Chatz

JOHN CHATZ is responsible for growth in Hewlett-Packard’s (HP) justice and public safety practice within the state and local government segment of HP Enterprise Services U.S. Public Sector. In this role, he guides the strategic direction of the Offender Management Practice and Court Management Solutions. Before joining HP in March 2013, Mr. Chatz was the executive clerk for court operations and administration for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chicago. From January 2009 through his resignation from the clerk’s office, he served as the operations director for the office’s eFiling project, successfully implementing the eFiling pilot in May 2009 and driving legislation and other initiatives leading to the Illinois Supreme Court’s approval of expansion to all civil case types in March 2013. Mr. Chatz has served as an elected and appointed official on his local school board (eight years) and on the Board of Ethics (six years).
