HON. MARYANNE MAJESTIC has served as a judge with the Tempe Municipal Court for approximately 20 years, the last four years as the presiding judge. During her time as the presiding judge, she has presided over the Tempe Municipal Court Mental Health Docket and was appointed as the presiding judge of the Maricopa County Regional Homeless Court (MCRHC) in 2012. Before this appointment to the MCRHC, she worked on the committee to draft the administrative orders that established the parameters of this new court. Judge Majestic has presented to a variety of audiences, including ABA, NACM, the Arizona State Judicial Conference, the State Problem Solving Court Conference, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety Conference, the Arizona New Judge Orientation, and hundreds of students of all ages, on MCRHC and other topics. She is a proud card-carrying member of NACM (that is, if NACM had cards), the State Bar of Arizona, and the ABA.
