Gregory Linhares

Gregory Linhares served as Missouri’s state courts administrator from 2008-14.  He has also served as commission counsel, Supreme Court of Missouri, 2002-08; counsel to the majority floor leader, Missouri House of Representatives, 2001-02; legislative analyst, Missouri House of Representatives, 2001; and staff attorney, Joint Committee on Legislative Research, 1998-2000.  Mr. Linhares also served in the JAG Corps, U.S. Army, 2000-09.  He has co-authored several articles, including “To Protect and Preserve: Standards for Maintaining and Managing 21st Century Court Records” (COSCA’s 2012-13 policy paper) and “Juvenile Detention Reform in Missouri: Improving Lives, Improving Public Safety, and Saving Money” (2012-13 Albany Law Review).  He is a member of the Missouri Bar and earned a B.A. from Truman State University (1994) and a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law (1998).
