Christopher Davey

CHRISTOPHER DAVEY is director of public information for the Supreme Court of Ohio and has more than 18 years of experience in government, media, and higher education. Mr. Davey holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in journalism, both from the Ohio State University, where he was a 2002 Fellow in the Kiplinger Public Affairs Journalism Program. He is a former statehouse correspondent for the Dayton Daily News and the Cincinnati Enquirer. Mr. Davey is a regular faculty presenter for both the Ohio Judicial College and the National Center for State Courts. In 2013 he published “The Future of Online Legal Journalism: The Courts Speak Only Through Their Opinions?” in I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society, vol. 8, p. 575 (http://moritzlaw.osu.edu/students/groups/is/files/2013/08/10-Davey.pdf). For the last four years, he has co-led the Conference of Court Public Information Officers’ annual New Media Survey project.
