Caroline E. Kirkpatrick is the director of the Educational Services Department at the Office of the Executive Secretary, Supreme Court of Virginia. She has been with the department since 1999 and has held other positions, such as curriculum/distance-learning specialist and assistant director. Dr. Kirkpatrick is a member of the National Association of State Judicial Educators (co-chair of the Curriculum Committee) and is a member and past president of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Court Management. She holds a B.A. in French from the University of Virginia, and an M.A. in Teaching and a Ph.D. in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kirkpatrick received her non-credit certificate in judicial administration from Michigan State University in 2010.
