Carol Mitchell

Carol Mitchell is as a court access specialist with the Court Services Division of the Arizona Supreme Court’s Administrative Office of the Courts.  She serves as a business-level liaison to trial courts working on access-to-justice issues involving crime victims, ADA, and language access.  In addition to developing statewide resources related to interpretation and translation services, she has been working on the expansion of a video remote interpretation project for proceedings that can connect a remote interpreter to a court located within specific counties or from the Supreme Court building.  Ms. Mitchell coordinates policy development and information exchange between courts regarding access-to-justice issues.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in justice studies and an MPA from Arizona State University
