PAMELA J. WOOD was appointed jury commissioner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the Supreme Judicial Court in November 2003. During her tenure, the Office of Jury Commissioner has implemented a statewide technological upgrade, including interactive juror website, to the jury management system resulting in significant cost savings, greater efficiency, and improved convenience for jurors. In 2011 her office received the National Center for State Courts’ G. Thomas Munsterman Award for Jury Innovation. Before becoming jury commissioner, Ms. Wood worked for the Massachusetts state medical board, for the Federal Trade Commission, and in private practice. She graduated from Wellesley College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
