JUSTIN CAPPS joined the Office of Legal Services at the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts as legal counsel in 2011. He is responsible for providing advice and assistance to judges, circuit court clerks, and the AOC director and central staff, with a focus on personnel issues and employment law. Before joining the Office of Legal Services, Mr. Capps clerked for Chief Circuit Judge James Brantley in Hopkins County, Kentucky. He is a native of Caldwell County, Kentucky and currently resides in Louisville. Mr. Capps earned his juris doctorate and bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville.
