Jessica Tyler

Jessica Tyler designs and manages long-term research projects; conducts data analysis; and writes research reports for national, state, and local elected officials and policymakers for the Council of State Governments’ Justice Center. Previously, she worked on judicial and indigent defense research as a senior researcher at the Texas Office of Court Administration, and she worked for MGT of America, a national consulting firm focused on a variety of criminal justice projects, including the assessment of police and corrections departments. She has also taught American government at the Austin Community College. Ms. Tyler holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in public policy from the College of William and Mary, and an M.A. in political science from the University of Houston.
