Hon. Eric M. Shepperd

HON. ERIC M. SHEPPERD took office on January 1, 2007 for County Court at Law No. 2 in Texas. He was formerly the director of civil litigation for the Travis County Attorney’s Office. Before joining the county attorney’s office, he was an assistant attorney general in what is now called the Law Enforcement Defense Division. Mr. Shepperd has always been active in service to the legal profession and the Austin community. He is a lecturer for the University of Texas Law School’s Trial Advocacy Program. He is a past member and a past chair of the Central Texas Red Cross Board of Directors, and he is a past president (and still a member) of the Board of Directors for Austin Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Shepperd is also a board member and past chair of the Leadership Austin Board of Directors, and he sits on the Board of Directors of the Texas Center of Judiciary and the Volunteer Legal Services Financial Committee. He holds a B.A. in business from Andrews University and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law and is board certified in civil trial law.
