Hon. Constance Russell

HON. CONSTANCE RUSSELL is a general jurisdiction circuit court judge. She sits on the bench of the Superior Court of Fulton County in Atlanta, Georgia, the busiest trial court jurisdiction in the state. She has been a member of the bench since 1996. Judge Russell has long-standing interest in court technology and has served a chairperson for the court’s Committee on Workload Assessment and vice chair of the Court Technology Committee. She most recently served as leader of the court team responsible for implementation the Atlanta Judicial Circuit’s case management technology upgrade to a unified case management system. Judge Russell is has received a host of national and local honors, including the Benham Legacy Award to recognize her unwavering resolve to make the right decisions and to counsel and mentor others in the legal community. Judge Russell served as a member of the Judicial Tools Workgroup and has acted as one of the lead drafters of “Making the Case for Judicial Tools.” She is a 1980 graduate of Harvard University and a 1983 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law.
