BRETT HOWARD is the chief information officer at the Orange County Superior Court in California. He joined the court in January 2014 and is responsible for the court’s IT applications and infrastructure. Mr. Howard has over 25 years of experience in IT and, before coming to the court, successfully launched a state-based exchange for the Affordable Care Act. His previous experience has been in both the telecommunications and health-insurance industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in math and computer science from UCLA.
