BELINDA POWELL has 30 years of experience in planning, design, and project management in the public and private sector. Ms. Powell has worked on the master plan and successful development of a juvenile justice complex for Travis County, Texas; the development of master plans for the criminal court system; and multiple jail construction initiatives for the county correctional complex. Recently, she has been focused on the master planning and programming for a new civil and family courts complex for Travis County. Ms. Powell has been a speaker for the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Women Elected Officials, and for the Academy of Architecture for Justice. She is a member of the American Planning Association. She received the Austin Young Lawyers Association Liberty Bell Award for 2015 and is a graduate of Texas A&M.
