Alyse Ferguson is attorney director of Collin County’s Mental Health Managed Counsel Program. She is responsible for managing specially trained attorneys who represent indigent defendants with mental illness. Ms. Ferguson has been in private practice as a criminal defense attorney for nine years and previously worked in community supervision and with MHMR, a local mental health authority. She is an advocate for mental health services and works to further services for treatment and care of mental illness. Ms. Ferguson is a graduate of Angelo State University with a BS in psychology and criminal justice and an MS in counseling psychology, and she holds a JD from Texas Wesleyan School of Law.
