Shannon Stone is the Human Resources Director for the Superior Court of California, Contra Costa County. Ms. Stone started her career as a Human Resources professional working for small and mid-size technology firms. After ten years in this field, Ms. Stone decided to pursue her Juris Doctorate with an emphasis in Labor and Employment Law. After law school, Ms. Stone worked as an Attorney practicing in general civil litigation and family law. In 2012, Ms. Stone joined the court as a Legal Research Attorney performing legal research and drafting bench memoranda for the Court’s Fast Track and Complex Civil departments. In December 2013, Ms. Stone assumed the role of the Court’s Human Resources Director where she is able to bring together her legal and human resources experience to assist in the administration of the Court.
