Rod Olson has served as the Court Administrator for Unit II since August of 2005. He worked previously in Minnesota, 19 years as a Court Administrator (Clerk of Court).
Rod has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and he is a 2009 fellow of the National Center for State Court’s Institute of Court Management.
Rod has experience serving on various court user groups and committees. Since coming to work in North Dakota, Rod has been appointed to Personnel Policy Board, The Racial Bias Commission for the North Dakota Courts, past chair of the Jury Users Workgroup, and served on the Oversight Committee for the implementation of the Odyssey Case Management system. Two of the counties in his unit were chosen as the pilot sites for the implementation of a new case management system which involved moving from paper files to entirely electronic files, complete with imaging, e-filing, and web access.
