Rick Pierce

Rick Pierce is the Judicial Programs Administrator for the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, has served in the field of court administration for the past twenty-eight years.  As judicial programs administrator, he is responsible for implementation of education and training as well as development and institution of programs in all facets of court operations at the general and limited jurisdiction court levels. An instructor for judges of general and limited jurisdiction, Pierce is responsible for the development and implementation of all COOP and EAP programs and works closely with court security development and training. Prior to his appointment at the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, Pierce was the district court administrator for Pennsylvania’s 9th Judicial District. Pierce served as the President for the Mid-Atlantic Association for Court Management for 2005-2006.  A graduate of Washington and Lee University, Pierce received his Master’s in Public Administration from Shippensburg University in 1995.
