Janet Cornell has over 35 years in court leadership. She is a consultant, presenter, and author with US and international experience. From 2002 to 2013 she was Court Administrator for the Scottsdale (Arizona) City Court. From 1998 to 2002 she was a justice consultant with the Maricopa County (Phoenix, AZ) I.T. Department. Expertise includes: administration, leadership, governance, caseflow management, operational improvement/reengineering, and performance measurement. Projects have included: Arizona, Australia, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Illinois, Kansas, Micronesia, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Oregon, Palau, Serbia, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington. Memberships include: National Association for Court Management and International Association for Court Administration. Education includes: Masters of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts-Arizona State University; Graduate Fellow-Institute for Court Management; certificates from Leadership Institute for Judicial Education-University of Memphis; and the Leader Coach Institute, AZ.
