Erica C. R. Costello, Esq., is the Staff Attorney for the Adult Guardianship Office with the Indiana Supreme Court. This office serves as a resource to courts and the public on all matters relating to adult guardianship. Since 2013, more than $1 million in matching grant funding has been awarded to 10 volunteer-based guardianship programs serving seniors and incapacitated adults throughout the Indiana. Prior to joining the Supreme Court, Ms. Costello served for eight years as the Director of Adult Protective Services (APS) with the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office in South Bend, Indiana. Ms. Costello has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Indiana University-Bloomington and a Juris Doctor from Brandeis School of Law, at the University of Louisville, in Kentucky. Ms. Costello is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and Indianapolis Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana.
