Anabel Romero has served the Superior Court of California, County of Orange for 20 years, providing leadership to a variety of operational units. Currently, she is the Court Operations Manager for the Court Reporter and Interpreter Services Unit. This division, amongst other services, ensures language access to litigants who possess limited English proficiency. Anabel currently serves as the Language Access Representative, overseeing the implementation of a variety of innovations and recommendations prepared by the Language Access Plan Implementation Task Force (LAPTIF), since the Judicial Council’s adoption of the Strategic Plan for Language Access in the California Courts in January 2015. Anabel is a Certified Court Manager through the Institute of Court Management and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University, a Chapman University System.
