Alfred Degrafinreid

Alfred Degrafinreid serves the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in the capacity of Chief Deputy Clerk in the Office of the Criminal Court Clerk, Twentieth Judicial District. His office is responsible for performing the clerical duties (hard copy and electronic forms) for the operation of eleven General Sessions Courts and six State Trial Criminal Courts. Mr. Degrafinreid attained the Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Administration degrees from Tennessee State University. He also attained the Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.  Mr. Degrafinreid began his career in court management when he was appointed Chief Administrative Officer by the Criminal Court Clerk in 2014.
